When a true freshman balls out like BB did, there is not point for any older QB to stay on the team. I respect Gunner for staying patient. I think with GB, BB, Marsh, Guner and whatever incoming freshman QB we are pretty set at the position.

It's weird to be this stacked at QB at USF.  Gotta tip the cap to CJS on that one.

I agree. My "insider" info on Byrum Brown was on a random road trip to visit my wife's friend. Her friend's husband has a son that is a high school QB  in NC and that whole weekend he did nothing but tell me that we will all be pleasantly surprised by Byrum. He mentioned how cool his entire family is and how good of a kid he was on and off the field. Even his son was praising Byrum after attending a few camps with him. I can't wait for next season.

100% I wish we played him sooner.  That's the way it goes though.

His redshirt was saved by only playing in 4 games.  There was no point in playing BB earlier.  USF wasn't going to a bowl.

I agree. GB is BB mentor and I dont think BB would have am issue if GB started over him. GB has rrally emgraced the big brother/mentor role with not just BB but also Marsh. I feel that is the main reason why Marsh improved this year. If GB dont make it to the NFL, we need to hired him as our QB coach lol
