I guess the point is why can't Joiner by Battie 2.0.  They both have the same build and skill sets and Scott for whatever reason had Joiner higher on the depth chart.  In the past Joiner has shown he can be electric in limited playing time.  Is Battie really THAT much better than KJ?  Were the previous coaches complete idiots to have KJ higher than Battie on the depth chart.

Yes!!!

Looks like Powell and Britton would be our best bet but they mostly played in garbage time.  Dukes ,Hamilton, and Joiner both were under 4 yards per carry.

Go back and relook at Joiner's career YPC numbers.  Believe he was at 6.2 with nearly 500 yards the year prior.

They are solid but Battie has better numbers. LEts hope Joiner stays healthy and finds his full potential this year.

The hell with the skill players. Build the team from the OL/DL out...

This is absolutely correct. Florida is full of RB’s and WR’s and so on. We need the big men to win.

You are not wrong but we still need skill players as well. Maybe all the Iowa State staff corn bring us some big corn fed boys that are near 300 lbs on the dline and oline.

Battie blew up this year. Remember he took advantage of both Mangham and Joiner being hurt.

We have seen enough carry’s of both to see that BB is special and Joiner is not at his level, is not as agile, powerful, and better vision.  I don’t need to look at any stats, look at the freakin tape.  BB is in the wind, joiner is injury prone but he is here so next man up.  I am not sure KJ is the guy, goes down to easy and is always on the table but he is here so I will be rooting for him.
