We get paid per the contract he signed with us.  Unfortunately his buyout is a lot less than our end of it.

Understood however my obvious point is I would rather have a successful coach leave with a few dollars coming in from his next stop then  an unsuccessful one leave and we have to pay him millions.  If they leave of their own volition it is the definition of a successful hire IMO.

My top 2 which will never be hired are Jim Leavitt and Deion Sanders. So in absence of either of those, how about these ideas for debate:

Jon Sumrall

Curt Cignetti

Jeff Traylor

Shawn Clark

Jim Leavitt is the clear path forward so therefore…

Not a lot of great options.

Is that because of the limited candidates with Florida recruiting ties? I was curious if people would be happy with a successful coach who hires great recruiters.

Younger, under 45

Intense and vocal type

NIL experience preferred

Offensive minded but with good DC contacts

Prior hc experience at college level

Great recruiter doesn't necessarily need Florida contacts
