That's important to point out. Going undefeated is still an accomplishment that's tough as hell to do. But things weren't as out of place as going winless made it seem. He was able to successfully shift our offense ever since but a lot of the base of the program culturally and talent wise was already there.

Also the OCS helped UCF build something I believe.

As long as Mullen didn't run some pro style offense I'd be interested. I'm not sure what his offensive philosophy is. But definitely nobody trying to run a pro style offense. 

Outside his last year at UF he always was a 6 to 11 win type coach in the SEC. Wonder what happened at UF

If we hire a rethread who failed at the P5 level it will be a huge disappointment. 
 

Are there any remnants of the Gulf Coast offense not named Willie Taggart still out there?
