I get frustrated by stupid things, like taking a knee before the half. At the least, hand it off to Battie and maybe he breaks one, or throw a deep ball, you haven't won a meaningful game in...ever... show a little fight.

I think with GB we may have had a shot at this game, but history tells me that isn't accurate with this coach.

legit question.

we are going NOWHERE with this guy.

the longer hes “”””coaching”””” this team the more we delay the inevitable rebuild.

its incredible that the Athletics Department compounded its mistake of firing Leavitt by hiring successively worse ... (snip)

USF never ended the season ranked under Leavitt but they did under Taggart. Also the only double digit win season was under Taggart.

i believe Strong had a double digit season. Going Bowling seems like a fantasy with Scott at the helm.

That was Taggart, then he went to Oregon.

No, Strong also had a 10 win season his first year.

Slick, please, if you're going to pull this stuff please have your facts straight. Both Willie and Chuck had a double digit win season and both finished ranked in the AP ...

I stand corrected. But Taggart had the program’s first 10 win season.

That’s fine. But my point was that USF didn’t hire only worse coaches than Leavitt. It wasn’t that only Taggart had a 10 win season.

Feel free to point out the Leavitt 10+ win seasons and post season rankings as head coach , which would refute my point, instead of Strong having a 10 win season.

This argument would be a little less silly (but not much) if it wasn’t his only double digit victory season out of 13, he wasn’t well below .500 lifetime, he wasn’t getting fired from back to back in state schools at this very moment, he didn’t also own the first 2-10 season here, he won a single bowl game in those 13 seasons, his biggest win here wasn’t against Temple (funny same as CJS), and QF had any years left of eligibility. CWT had a couple of good recruiting classes but that doesn’t a good coach make and there is absolutely no reason to believe he had another ace up his sleeve after QF left (if he did FSU would have been a nice time to use it), he left at the perfect moment in the rarest of insances in his career when he had any value whatsoever.
