That is why I prefer HS recruiting which has also been regressing over the last 3 years

A lot of HS recruits, their coaches, and families sit in the section I have season tickets in. Listening to them talk today many sounded like they want to stay close to home and probably would if we didn’t suck. We won’t get better until we recruit better talent, but that’s hard when we don’t win games. Too bad we can’t lose out for better draft picks like in the NFL.

The fact that most are starting shows how little we had to start with.  If I remember correctly, most have several years of eligibility so there is some hope that they will improve.
