I think we all care, or we wouldn’t be on here taking about it. We’ve just got numb to losing.

Perhaps numb is a better explanation

Not me.  I can sit tight because I know the alternative is to go out and try to hire someone AGAIN.  Here and there I see bits of things coming together.  I can be talked into more time for the current coach.  If we knew how to hire/had a proven track record, maybe this is a different discussion.  I have less faith in us hiring the right guy than I have in the guy we have now.  And to reset AGAIN to me is like

Bring in some help like that which Willie got. Let's make it work.

Hopefully he can turn it around before USF runs off everyone. It’s just hard continuing to go lose every week. You’re right our track record for hiring coaches suck!!!! I think one of the issues is after the Leavitt “incident” we went to conservative coaches. We need a coach with a little swagger who’s proven they can win as a head coach.

We've lost a lot of fans, I think the biggest losses have already happened.  We're now trying to placate a couple/few thousand tops, including the marginal? (Would be a fun exercise to figure that out)

As someone said earlier, if you're here now, you're likely be here when things turn.  Most of the less-committed have moved on.

If we lose out the remaining games and CJS isn’t fired, I think we will lose more fans. I’ve had tickets since I graduated and will still go to games, but many season ticket holders around me are pretty much done. They are either choosing to watch the game on tv, or not at all. It’s hard to dedicate 5 to 10 hours (driving, tailgating, game, etc) to watch losing football.

This.... This is what they have to think about.... If we expect to lose, most will watch but at home

So our record is really 1 win - 2 moral victories - 3 losses

Does that one win count? It was n FCS team,

That's minus 1 moral victory, but still one actual victory.

Does the 2nd half of ECU count as 1/2 a moral victory?
