He turns 66 in December.  If he were to come back, how long would he coach?  We would definitely need to be grooming someone to take the reins sooner rather than later.

Hell, with his Pepsi and chocolate diet he could run a decade on the sugar and caffeine alone!

He is with a lot of us.  There is certainly some romanticizing that goes on when we remember his time here as well as some contrast bias.  But yeah, pretty much.

I miss those old days.  The press conferences were fun.  I do remember the Pepsi but not the chocolate.

I will say some press conferences drove me crazy because he hated answering questions. He was just ready to coach but I do appreciate him not making excuses.  Like humidity or wet balls.

Joe Paterno coached until he was 84, Bobby Bowden until he was 80, so....

Even if we only got 5 years out of CJL, it would be something

Bringing him back would give me hope for the future of USF football

Leavitt would die on the field at USF if brought back. That man doesn't have quit (retire) in him.

Saban is 70 and under contract for 8 more years.

This is all fun but just remember Michael Kelly had a chance three years ago and passed on it. If he doesn’t mind being 0-1 he probably doesn’t mind being 0-2.  Could it possibly be worth it?
