What does Mike Kelly Actually Do

Harlan was a total mess but as I recall he basically told the fans and CWT that what was going on was not acceptable. He implied that CWT would be fired if he didn’t start to win. That started the shift with Flowers taking off. Kelly is a complete empty suit and has never addressed that on his watch the football and basketball teams are total flops. Great - facilities might improve but who the hell will still want to watch. 
 

oh yeah and Alabama might actually kill or maim some of our players. This is a circus- and **** sad circus. 
 

There is no excuse for what Scott has rolled out there since he took over.

Lets be real, if they fired CJS and replaced him the bar to improve is so low. If you can win two fbs games in 22 game you are improving. If you show up prepared every game you are improving. If your offense can score a passing touchdown per game you are significantly improving. If you defense doesn't give up 600+ yards to a .500 power 5 team you are improving.  If you don't let your  ranked opponent score on the first play of the game you are improving. If you can have your offense and defense finish above the bottom 25% of college football you are improving. If your recruiting class in the top 50 you are improving. Enough of the excuses and cuddling of this coach. He is getting paid to win and he has been an embarrassment for USF football on the field. He is a nice guy but he doing a terrible  job trying to be a coach. Has there ever been an FBS football coach that had worse results than 1-21  against FBS teams and be able to keep his job?

@USFRaider   According to ASU fans he deserved to be fired two or three years ago.  But, the A.D. is his buddy and kept kept covering for him and covering for him until the boosters wanted both Herm and the AD Ray Anderson gone. As the heat got turned up on Anderson he decided to go ahead and give up Herm.  Fired after the game last week - a loss to Eastern Michigan or some team like that.

Did ASU look like unprepared and incompetent buffoons under Herm? Or were they losing close games like Nebraska under Frost?

SO ASU takes their football more serious than USF. They do not accept failure and keep promising hope for tomorrow. When tomorrow comes it is just another embarrassing loss that we can try to find an excuse for but we are running out of them. Hey let me tell you about Clemson? Can Clemson take CJS at this point?

I don’t follow them that closely but I just know that they’ve lost a lot of games that they were supposed to win. And I would say probably closer to the latter.
