Kelly should be putting out feelers on who would be interested in the job.   Then he needs to be talking to Law and the whales to see who is acceptable to them.  Lets just say for some crazy reason Gruden's or Urban's people reach out.  Will the main players be OK with some of the bad PR.

What exactly has VPMK demonstrated that makes you think he should have anything to do with finding a replacement? If he wants to stay on in a fundraising role where he gets to throw parties and raise money that he isn’t allowed to touch, sure. But the guy that makes this hire, doubles down on this hire after 3 wins in two years, gets a failing basketball team with an easy controversy out and goes all in on that as well and decides to blanket extend every contract he oversees no matter what the results should absolutely have no more chances to continue his perpetual wheel of failure.

USF will never, ever, ever get an ACC invite as long as they are putting this product on the field.  

Get comfortable in the AAC.

While he has been a dumpster fire with his hires and extensions, he is our AD and is not getting fired or reassigned any time soon

Well then we are F@$(ked, everything in life reflects management. The team fails because CJS is a failure as demonstrated by years of results with different staff and players that he is free to change as he pleases and CJS is a failure because VPMK has determined failing is okay with him just as long as you are nice and have an ACC  connection. There is no hope for USF athletics under his leadership which is why he has wrapped himself in a project years beyond when he should still be here, having only made basketball and football progressively worse than before he stepped foot on campus.

I have no doubt that VPMK is posturing for an invite to the ACC i equally have no doubt that we will not be going with him and that his “efforts” here have not helped that in any regard. I would trade CJS, VPMK and future considerations straight up for CCS and Harlan and it’s not even close. Many people have set out to fail miserably here but these two have turned it into an art form, but hey they are nice and they say OCS sometimes so who cares that no one is going to be here to see it.
