Heard he was the undisputed leader on Baylor last year and this spring, great to hear he's bringing those qualities with him. Also great to hear that Timmy is embracing the competition.

Gerry is way more confident and poised than Timmy. I’ll be very surprised if he’s not starting based on that swagger.

Seems like he has a real confidence that comes with knowing you are as prepared as possible and there's no way anyone has outworked you. Got the impression he loves everything about the grind of improving and helping the team, never seen someone so giddy to be asked about the fall camp speech he's going to give. If we're lucky his energy will be infectious on the rest of the team.

I was blown away...he had me wanting to run thru a wall for him. 

He is the type of team leader that also makes the defense play at a higher level.

The other qb are going to be so much better with a leader like that on the team to learn from.
