IMO, Benjamin Williams is the cream of the crop here - five foot nothing, but what a hard worker on the field

Agree w/your Ben take.  Played a helluva lot bigger and better than he was.  Thrust into a key role and he performed admirably.

That was my first USF road game - maybe 10k Bulls Fans there (we basically had the entire sideline).  Lockhart looked like a HS field as opposed to a D1 venue

Passing game was off, but Grothe and Williams killed it on the ground.  IIRC, Mike Ford was suspended for the game

Such an underrated player in the history USF football. Non scholly player to MVP of our first bowl win.

Remember Davenport . . . think he was at LB and RB mostly. Good solid player.

I echo what everyone said about Big Ben Williams. Loved that workhorse!
