That is the where the problem lies. These national pundits are looking solely at our record last year and are upcoming strength of schedule.  They don't follow the team with a fine-tooth comb like we do.  We have analyzed every current and new player on this team with a microscope as the best we can. We can see the improvement and how almost every position has been upgraded.  I've said it before, but this team will win a minimum of 6 games this year. That is the mortal lock of the century!!

That is an excllent point Rob. At some point every team had to rebound and it must have been a surprise. I remember when Oaky State was always a 5/6 win team. Baylor used to win 3 games a year. Hopefully we have such a rebound in us.

It's refreshing to see new positive perspectives in this group.  I'm excited every year, but I feel that this year will be a much better. The transfers we got these past 2 years are much younger than our usual route. Many of our transfers also played a decent amount of snaps prior to their arrival. We went the D2 route and got probably one of the top D2 transfers.

It's a Sicilian message.  It means Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.

Frisco got the message and understands the consequences of his guarantee ....

The proof is in the pudding and you will see the marked improvement on the field this year.

May the force be with us.

Well, they did all the things I could hope for at least in the offseason and more.  If the staff can click, I think we will feel very different.  If it is still clunky and botched, then we will definitely know why.

Yep.  I'm not sure what else they could have done here and it has to translate to a better/decent year.

Some on here would say fire the HC, but it seems to me that would have done way more damage at this stage.  I think this is the make or break year where you need to start seeing something trending in the right direction.  You are talking about a first time HC who needs to figure out how to make it work...
