Interesting ..... couldn't hurt. I'm sure there will be some more discussion on this here.

I am meh, big name but was a bust at Arkansas and at a high school down the street from me last year.  Hopefully he adds value but not holding my breath.

Just to keep everybody calm...

"His time with the Razorbacks was particularly notorious, as he went a combined 4-18 in 2018 and 2019.

Morris did not exactly get off to a great start at Allen either, but he steadied the ship and the team went 11-3 in his lone season there. His reputation is not great right now, but he could revive it if he has the right fit and the right offense."  Link

In what world is 11-3 a bust?

Just saying 4-18 is better than 3-18 in the SEC. Hell he went 14-22 at SMU. Sadly those are both huge upgrades than these last two years. He has experience at running an ELITE offense. This guy also ran an explosive offense that he was solely in charge of instead of being co-oc and was in charge of play calling while at Clemson. I would say at the very least he knows a little more about running an offense than CJS. I don't see how this could hurt CJS and Tricket on improving and running an offense effectively.

The 2 years prior to Morris' arrival, Clemson went a combined 15–12, including a record of 6–7 in 2010. Morris introduced a hurry-up, spread offense that helped Clemson to a 42–11 mark over the next four seasons.[3] In December 2011, Morris became tied with Gus Malzahn as the highest paid assistant in college football after Clemson University gave Morris a six-year contract worth $1.3 million annually.[4]
