We had four selected in first ten rounds back in the 80s. We last had four drafted in Top 20 rounds in 2018.

But the organization was optimistic it could happen. Their scouts saw the 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-hander touching 97 mph with a plus-slider while pitching from a lower, three-quarters slot. While his delivery has brought some skeptics, scouts also like that it’s been repeatable and that Brutti throws strikes.

Not sure what number will be thrown at him by the O's or how much it would take for him to get over the "disappointment" of not being a Bull. Recruiting for College baseball is a crapshoot. Never really thought about it much until this years posts on it. Anyone know what salaries these guys get offered to skip college? I guess from reading here it varies deoending on the round taken.

This is from MLB.com's scouting report on him. If he winds up attending South Florida, he could become the Bulls' best position prospect since 2017 supplemental first-rounder Kevin Merrell. Some of the HS recruits committed to USF will sign for 2x-3x more than guys drafted 5 rounds ahead of them. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Jasiak doesn't sign OR signs for twice as much as his contemporaries in the 12th round.
