We know that didn't work out well for USF when we did the same. Mohajir has “no issues” trying to schedule future football games against USF when the Knights change leagues. Mohajir said he and Bulls athletic director Michael Kelly have talked about future scheduling, but UCF will probably face a nine-game Big 12 slate. Both teams already have other non-conference opponents lined up; USF’s non-conference schedule appears full through 2027. “It’s just a matter of availability, really, to be very candid with you,” Mohajir said. But that was the downfall of USF athletics. Deciding to even recognize that UCF was worthy was the end of our athletics program. So how much better can they be? I'm using the sarcasm font BTW. Oh, I know you're being facetious, but think about this. Their sports generally sucked across the board. They invested in facilities, got lucky in hiring a young, up and coming coach, and left USF behind. I think USF tried to go cheap thinking playing at RayJay would/could be equal to building the college football experience. And maybe IF USF would've invested in the IPF 10 years ago. Maybe. Now USF must go all in to have any chance of keeping up. Hell, even hindsight's not 20/20 now.

If it does that we will eventually be in the Big12 and play them again. USF’s lack of investments, poor coaching hiring past and bad leadership got them where they are it was NOT caused by ucf. It’s steps on getting out of the quagmire will depend on investments, good coaching hires and good leadership NOT ucf 1 11

I'm sure those who posted on this board back then had absolutely ZERO problem with that. There was only 1 year (2005) when we had both Miami and UCF on the schedule. When the UCF series of games ended in 2008 Miami came on in their place in 2009.
