8629455.thumb.jpg.40f22cc6354f738ca7eb4176ea4b9eb9.jpgLast time oyr defense dominated we had a DT with a nickname of "porkchop" lol. They call this guy "Forklift". He's a Grad transfer from Virginia and from the Orlando area. We need at least one goal line stuffer on our line.

Would be nice to add another starting DT or two, LB that could be a starter, cb, and veteran QB if  possible with p5 experience with a few starts. Marsh/McC battle for 1 and 2 followed by two true freshmen could be a disaster if McClain or marsh don't run away with the job and the other gets hurt.

Of course 2/3rds of college football fans from other schools just posted the same thing.

It is easier here to be a starter than most FBs schools. The record under CJS speaks for itself for the lack of talent across the board being developed and recruited. You get  a lot more opportunities to stand out.

Many think they can still make it in a big time program.

I hope they all do if it is not at UCF, but if they can't beat the guys ahead of them here they have a small chance of shining at a bigger FBS program. The only way I see Bellamy , Reyes, or Camiel shining else where is our current coaching staff (hc,dc,oc,st,sc) would be bad at evaluating and developing talent. I am not going to make that claim just yet... Reyes is the one that surprises me because he was a Tampa product and has four years left. Camiel is surprising because he has four years left and was another product of CJS's first class. I find it concerning that two members of his first class are out and couldn't find playing time on this team. Lets just see how the season plays out and hope the coaching staff sees something we do not. Best of luck former bulls.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi

ESPN released their FPI rankings for 2022.

Quote

FPI is a predictive rating system designed to measure team strength and project performance going forward. The ultimate goal of FPI is not to rank teams 1 through 128; rather, it is to correctly predict games and season outcomes. If Vegas ever published the power rankings it uses to set its lines, they would likely look quite a lot like FPI.

Correctly predicting game outcomes can’t be done by evaluating teams’ records because some teams are stronger than their records indicate (lots of close losses), and others have favorable schedules. Both of these situations are reflected in the game- and season-level projections.

Predict us to go 4.5-7.5 with a 23% chance at a bowl game. The 90th best team in the country and 8th best in the conference.

Ranked #8 within the conference is way higher than they deserve.  I would have them at #10 until they can prove otherwise.

Thus looking at the link, and according to ESPN, if we beat Tulane and ECU we are going bowling.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
