Yeah its been slow..that said normally the sophomore year a qb will make a big jump in play if the coaches/qb are good.

He's looked good at times but he still lacks situational awareness.

Kid has all the talent, just needs to work on some fundamentals. Tries to do too much at times. If we can improve his footwork, the passing accuracy will improve. Hopefully he works on that in the off season.

Was thinking same thing when you posted this.  He is not the QB of the future.  Not earned yet.  He showed potential, that's it.

He played great this year for a freshman.  Has tremendous upside and could the be the best QB ever.  That being said, it is definitely not a guarantee that he will progress next year.  We have seen this before...  So I concur!

It's a shame that he had to play as a true freshman, ideally he would have had a year to bulk up and learn before being the full time starter. I am impressed with the kid, is he a Heisman winner in the future? Probably not, but he did some really good things with very little around him this year. Having said that, if someone comes in and they are an instant upgrade, great. Just don't forget, he was playing HS ball last year, and there is no doubt that he was the best we had on the roster this year. I expect growth from him.
