We need an entire new 2 deep on the Dline.  Needs to come mainly from the portal as HS Dline recruits need time to physically develop and usually aren’t ready as true freshmen.

Maybe one-two guys(Yates and Vaughn) will develop stronger from the current roster 2-Deep ... hope we have some that RS'd and I think two that are waiting for 2022 that already committed last year.

We have the FR that played at Temple that is transferring.

Highly unlikely you are going to get six quality recruits for the D line from simply using the portal. Everyone is going after the same inventory and it is scarce.

I'm not sure that is true.  Let's say Alabama has a guy not getting playing time because there are 3 studs in front of him.  That guy probably isn't transferring to Top 25 - 30 teams if he is 3rd or 4th on the depth chart.  There is still plenty of competition for that guy just not "everyone".

Well the Temple DL transfer already committed here and James Ash the Wake Forest DL transfer already put USF football in his instagram bio

If we can get that UNC transfer then our interior DL would probably already be upgraded.

Jamari Stewart the Mississippi state transfer had been looking good all offseason apparently and just hasn't played this year due to a foot injury, getting him back is basically a new addition to the dline.

And I'm sure there's some more names we're looking at in the portal that we just haven't heard about yet. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see us add 5 portal guys on the dline + Jamari Stewart when its all said and done. Then have guys like Rashawn Yates and Tramel Logan return for depth
