What was his Badge number? Haha. Don't know their badge numbers, but their names were Sting, Andy and Stewart. We all had cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes. Okay, here's the story. While I was at USF, I worked in the box office of Tampa Theatre selling tickets in 1978 and 1979. I was working that day when they arrived in a van around noon after playing in Athens at UGA 2 nights before. They came up to the box office and asked me where to park and then invited me to join them for lunch at Woolworth's. They asked a bunch of questions about ticket sales, their popularity in Florida and general chit chat. I was a big fan at the time so it was pretty great. 2

When you share it with grandkids they'll ask "Who are they?" And that right there is a shame. My kids, and now my four grandkids, are familiar with my music from the sixties and seventies and two of them can actually play Genesis and Grateful Dead music on guitar. My daughter was minus one month when we took her to her first Grateful Dead concert. Every Saturday was cleaning morning in our house and it was UB40 and other reggae only. I don't understand kids not knowing the best music ever made. Obviously parental failure!
