This is the part that's gotten to me. Basically college football is dead to me if it doesn't involve USF, wherever we end up ....

Ending up in the wrong place is a fate far worse than death

I was expecting @smazza to hijack this thread overnight and get us to 3,000.

Good memories of the one or two word posts.

Meaningless really at this point. The B1G, with NBC, CBS; and Fox just grabbed the 4 meaningful programs in the Pacific Time Zome.

Obviously ESPN or anybody else could have stepped in to save the Pac 12. There is a reason their best offer was for streaming from Apple.

Fox and ESPN are splitting up the country. Fox North and west (Big 10)for the most part ESPN south and east(SEC).

They are going to build NFL lite with the top 30 or 40 programs in the country.

Profits are down. they are consolidating.

What;s unfortunate is that the bean counters at those companies only care about profits. They couldn't care less about regional rivalries or geographic fit.

It was the athletic directors and presidents that should have stepped in to take control. Unfortunately it's all about the $$ for them too.

ITA!  I pay to watch USF, have for years.  I keep my Directv, ESPN+ and used to pay for (I think it was called) BullsVision.

Just about how great the conference media days were and then one asking McDonald’s if they were hiring, for a friend.

ROFL!  I had to respond as I'm out of reactions.  Thanks for the laugh.

What games will ESPN be broadcasting in the 10pm or later time slot going forward? Utah vs. Iowa State?

I will still enjoy USF football as long as we are able to compete. There will be plenty of solid programs left out of the SEC/Big 10 National college football league.

I haven't enjoyed USF football for the last few years.  I have watched every moment.  Haven't missed a game.  My son (an alum) and I usually watch together.  But it's been misery of late.  We've been on a decline and our direct competitor is on the upswing.  It's insane what I do to myself.
