They state in their bio they aren’t directly involved in anything and they seem to just aggregate rumors from Twitter, even the corners school posts from a year ago (that were surrounded by things that didn’t even come close to happening) were written as they were breaking events that were imminent.

Hang in there young Bull. USF needs more new fans like yourself that can see past a few terrible seasons. You'll be carrying the torch long after most of us old heads have gone up to a better conference... er... better place , so keep looking to the future. And Go Bulls!

If FSU is successful and leaves the ACC soon leaving UM only, and UCF is the only FL team in the B12, there will be two conferences that could benefit from adding USF to shore up their FL presence.  It's interesting how conferences have been unwilling to double up on FL thus far (looking at you SEC).  

I'm not excited about the current composition of the AAC and hold out hope that we can work something out to get PAC teams.  But I can see PAC teams trying to join the ACC instead.  MIght be the best solution for them.
