If this is true @BDYZR, the answer to your poll is likely A.  The Big 12 will need to add some teams to keep pace.

"BTM" is the name he gave a source in the Big Ten years ago.

1.) This happens

2.) The PAC adds 6 teams to go up to 16. Ok State, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Kansas, SD St (get back in socal)

3.) We end up in a backfilled Big 12 that is very similar to the "Big East" that UCF joined 10 years ago. Something like:

Iowa State, Kansas State, WVU, Houston, Cincinnati, UCF, BYU, USF, Memphis, SMU, CSU, Boise

Where its definitely better than what we are now, but the Big 12 in name only

I present to you the Mountain PAC Americano Conference: If the Big 12 absorbs the six PAC 12 teams.

East - USF, Navy, Memphis, Air Force, Colorado St. Utah St, Boise ST

West - Stanford, Wash St, Cal Berk,  Oregon St, Fresno St, San Diego St,  UNLV

I would definitely not be excited about this.

We need more southern and Atlantic coast action.

I wouldn’t mind being in the West

Dude. Same.

Would like to chip in my two cents (because that's what this if for, right?).

Preferred Scenario
B10 & SEC snag a couple ACC schools each (lets say FSU Clemson GA Tech and one of Miami or UNC), but leave behind most of our old Big East conference mates. ACC picks up WVU, Cincy, USF and (insert any school here).

Unlikely scenario as I'm not sure that the money would be enough to lure away WVU/ Cincy back from their current conference; but that would be my first choice for how things would shake out. Would be playing all the old favorites (Pitt, WVU, Louisville) without playing any of the old hated ones (rutgers and C.)

I believe this is the more likely scenario to happen.

Having Ga Tech in the conference would be an epic win though.  So easy to travel in to that one and there's mass transit right near the stadium at the North Ave. or Midtown stops.
