Says that conferences may look towards programs with large, passionate fan bases rather than TV market, because of a decrease cable suscribers. Specifically named BYU and Houston.

I thought there was a thread for these kinds of things.

But wouldn't it be epic to have TWO threads that reach 1000 pages?

Kind of ridiculous.  Traditional TV is going away, sure.  But it is still about advertising.  And a school in a larger market is still going to draw more advertising dollars, with few exceptions.

I guess the more the merrier... but I'm biased and want the the immortal zombie thread of never ending realignment entropy to continue forever.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
