Nah it's over rated. That's why we have computers.

They're going somewhere. But in the meantime, USF really need to work it's way in and build it's program up. They really need to make it difficult for another conference to pass them up.

At this point we just have to stay on the track we are on in pretty much all areas. Football is back on the rails, everything from the academic side is pretty much where need it to be.  We are on the verge of achieving Preeminent status, working towards that AAU designation. pretty strong across the spectrum in most sports now. If we can get men's basketball to at least a respectable level it would be great, but there is not a lot more the folks in charge can do differently than they are now to get us there

With LSU reportedly wanting Tom Herman, is the Big 12 under more pressure to decide on expansion? Obviously if they don't want Houston it's not an issue.

Houston has had success before Tom Hermann so I think there is sustainable program even if he leaves. Much like us the wealth is not in the coach but the talent that surrounds us and want to play at home.

If Tom Herman leaves, Houston due to the new OCS and their financial backing will still be a viably top 3 G5 job. Tom Herman has had some great times at Houston, but for all we know he could go to LSU, instill something great...or fizzle horribly.

The financial backing is entirely built on getting into the Big 12. If that falls through, Houston is toast.

Herman stays at Houston if they make Big 12... If not he bolts... As good as he is I do not think he wants the LSU pressure cooker.

There is no creature on the planet more egotistical than a head football coach. They ALWAYS think they can do a better job than the last guy, regardless of the situation.

Of offered, he'll take the job and run... so would Taggart.
