I hate UCF and I support celebrating wins over them a little harder, but this whole War on I4 points system seems a little odd. Does any other rivalry have an all sports trophy like this? I think

I hate UCF. The mere appearance of their logo anywhere pisses me off. So if we want to celebrate beating their assess, it is totally fine with me.

 

I’d rather beat them in athletic department intelligence.  So far we’re 0 for everything there.

Not at all. We’re complaining about this rivalry that we built only to lift them and that has only benefited them.

Yet, outside of football, somehow we've been able to win more tourney/conference trophies than they have in sports we both play, so they may have won the battle but we won the war that mattered ....... Don't give that stupid highway marker thingy any more validity than it deserves.

In football? Yeah, why not? ANY FBS win is cause for celebration at this point, especially a win over them. In 2007, yes, beating them wasn't that big a deal, but we're looking up at them now. There's a reason they got the invite and we didn't....yet anyway. They've accomplished a lot that we haven't. Sucks, but it is what it is.

we built them up?

i think they did a great job of building themselves up and beating us in field of competition
