Just now, Brad said:

Maybe he was referring to the first part of the comment that reads as if SMU receivers were not wide open.  They were.

If they were wide open all the time wouldn't they have dropped 70 on us?

Makes you wonder at times what game some of our fans were watching ....

Drinking does make the details of the game quite fuzzy at times, however it is an effective way to cope with our play.

I can confirm they were open. Crappy DBs are to blame.

It's funny when coaches actually coach to hide inefficiencies then people call them out for not coaching.

I can't argue with that and it may explain some things ....

Not sure what you’re getting at.  That they weren’t wide open enough to totally destroy us?  There were few, if any, contested catches, probably less contested catches than there were PI calls.  They were open in space a lot.  I don’t know how that can be argued.

So what's your plan for defending them with 2nd, 3rd string and walk ons playing in the backfield?

Not sure there’s anything CJS can say that’ll change how people feel.  Winning is the only thing now that matters.

I don’t have a plan.  I’m simply commenting on what I saw in the game.  If I had a plan, not sure it would matter.

The fact we are undermanned makes this a reality, it doesn’t deny the reality.

Oh, LOL….  “All the time” literally?  Ha ha…

Yeah, maybe not open on run plays or special teams plays.  Trip….

Enough of the time I guess.  Too much.
