More money? Because that's why he went with Adidas.

Actually Adidas was less money! Which makes it even more dumbfounding.

USF sports teams will be outfitted in Adidas gear starting next summer.

"While providing more in apparel to USF over the course of the contract, the Adidas partnership gives less cash to USF than its Under Armour deal."

I don't doubt its worth less than our expired UA deal, we're worth less than we were when we signed it. I'm guessing UA lowballed us and we ended up with Adidas this time around. Can't imagine we willingly took less money to be with Adidas.

UA overpaid for us and many other schools all those years ago when they tried to jump onto the uniform scene. My buddy works at Wilson in Chicago and told me UA is bleeding money which is why they couldn't afford to re-up many of their contracts when they expired. It's well known in his line of business. Hence why we landed with Adidas and received a lesser contract. The fact that we weren't performing well also plays into what Adidas offered.
