I just don't see any reason to go to either of those guys if you thought Fortin was the starter and seeing McClain tonight.   And I think when you do that you are pretty much admitting you don't know what the hell you are doing.   CJS' only shot at coming out of it looking OK is if one of those guys starts and goes on the lead us to a winning season otherwise you might as well put a fork in him 'cause he's officially done

I question his ability to evaluate talent, call plays, develop talent….. maybe he’s just not ready to be a head coach

I don't agree.  Maybe Fortin looked great in camp.  I give him a pass on that selection.

That's not what I mean, I don't care about starting Fortin even if I don't necessarily agree with it.  But if you thought Fortin was the best option going into the night and then you watched McClain completely out play him then McClain should be your man.  No reason to mess around with the other two guys

Is he calling the plays?   But I think his biggest problem may be an inability to make the tough decisions.  Might just be too nice of a guy

They script the plays, and I believe he has say in what’s called as well. Unless things were changed

I'm sure he has some say.   Just not sure if he is calling them or letting Weis do it.  It doesn't matter.  If there is a problem, it is bigger than the play calling

Yeah they were issues everywhere. No discipline, no execution, no points, etc

Again, those aren't the issues.  The concern is if he doesn't have a real plan.  A clue what he is doing.   I'll refer back to CJL, there were plenty of discipline and execution issues, but he had a vision and a plan so there were also lots of W's.   Even some big ones, but early on there were some serious ass kickings too

Goodnight all, I hope you enjoy your UCF game.

Next week is going to hurt both physically in the sun and emotionally.
