Nothing says I’m ready to fight quite like fainting in the face of adversity

Bad things happen in 3's.

  1. Firing of CJL.
  2. Loss of LeeRoy Selmon
  3. Capitulation of the Big East (and USF getting left behind).

Sad days for USF football, my friends.  Prefer not to relive those moments.

Another spin around the block. The Big East was walking towards imploding because it basically had three factions.

1. The Catholic non football schools which at best tolerated UL and UC and held their nose at the addition of USF. They had their own agenda.

2. The old football guard Cuse,Pitt,Rutgers, WV and UConn they were all looking for greener pastures and would bail at any invite.

3. UL, UC and USF the only ones really happy at the situation and being in BE.

Pitt and Cuse were working behind the backs with ACC and it didn’t matter how big BE contract would be it wouldn’t have matched ACC.

ESPN orchestrated the entire thing. They were complicit with Pitt and Cuse. Tortious Interference at it's finest.

I hope it never gets worse than those 3 for our program. I can't take much more.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
