Gavin Conticello could sneak into the top 10 rounds. Outside of the top 10, it starts leaning more and more us. MLB has him at #244, but some of his scouting reports are higher on him than others. If he lands in the top 10 and someone offers him $150k-$200k, we'll likely lose him. If he falls into the 15-20 round range, I like our chances of keeping him.

Just finished the 6th round/pick 192. Slot money for that pick is $247k.

Yeah, I gave the draft tracker a quick look and it seems like if 150K is the goal, it just went through the uprights.

Round 7 in the books. Pick 222 to close the round is worth $194.4k.

20% chance of sticking in the majors. Save some of that money kid for an education if you are playing the odds.

Assuming he's found stats on time in the majors by draft pick number. 8th round has a 20% chance statistically.

Found it.

What percentage of MLB draftees make it to Major League Baseball, and how do those numbers vary by draft round?
