Here 7 years, no NCAA appearances, 2 NIT's with 0 wins. At Tech 9 years, 1 NCAA appearance, 5 NIT's with at least one win in every one of those tournaments. I honestly would have liked to have seen what he could have done in the BE here but I'm guessing he'd have come to the same conclusion as Mac and still left because he knew we'd be heading into a nuclear war with a pea shooter. I agree. He is a pretty good TV Analyst though.....not to disparage him in anyway. He did try to bring excitement on campus, so there is that. Just couldn't quite deliver. He's doing what he's best at, talking on TV. I get that CBG inherited a tough situation. His seat deserves to get warm next season, if we keep seeing the same MBB issues next season. We have no consistency from the PG position. Unless Gregory recruits better guards we likely we see the same stuff next year or worse.

And that says alot because Q was terrible on the offensive end of the floor. You are right, and this team lacks a true facilitator who can get the ball to players where they can score. We have one of the worst team assist-to-turnover ratios in the country, and if that doesn't change we are going to see alot more losses like the one yesterday. The sad part is I believe we have a Top 100 guy in the backcourt now.

He's got excellent handles but his passing skills look like they have actually gotten worse (coaching staff handcuffing him?) and the jump shot is just ugly. Get him into the gym over the summer and rework his mechanics, and free him to be the passer we saw early in the season.

I am talking about Murphy - that's who I thought you were referencing when you said Top 100 guy.

He has had a tough year. I think we were all expecting more. His shot percentage must be pretty bad. Here I was thinking he would be be doing some damage (in a good way) at the end of the season.
