Wow, never thought I'd see Archer back as a Ray.  Not upset, hoping for the best, and maybe that will happen.

BUT, lets re-visit = 

Charlie Morton, Blake Snell = GONE

Chris Archer = HERE

Not so much liking that situation a whole lot.

But the Rays are the Rays and always find a way, so I think we still find a way to complete in the AL East (somehow someway).

Yes very true.  I hate the Snell trade, but these things seem to work out for the Rays more times than not.

I just worry that we will be just good enough to be a wild card team and compete in the playoffs but won't have that big time starter (Snell) to push us over the top.....but who knows, they seem to come off the assembly line and maybe one of them steps up to be the next STUD.

yep......That's the goal. Them over the top guys is expensive.

I'm not loving this trade either.  He was our primary 9th inning reliever, and even though he would scare me to death with his walks, more times than not he was able to lock it down.  So now who will be the Closer?  Guess next man up.
