The Rays' postseason star has been detained in Mexico over an alleged family dispute.

Morton is 37 years old and the Rays aren't paying a 37 year old pitcher $15 mil.  The story is they are willing to listen to trade offers for Snell.  This isn't new and the last time they did this they got Glasnow and Meadows for Archer.   I'd expect a similar return of they were to deal Snell and that would be a win for the Rays again

You could be right if its the perfect deal.  And the Rays are known for that.

But how long can you tempt fate.  Snell is a stud coming into his time.  No matter how you spin it.  Would be a HUGE loss!!

Yes I was one of those people.

But his performance in the WS was frickin dominant.  That changed my mind. Losing Morton and Snell would be devastating.  We need Snell on this roster.

In other News, apparently Arozarena is off the hook.

There really isn’t a need for top end starter in this system. I also can’t imagine any starter who fancy’s themselves a one or a two wanting to be in this system. I could see Glasnow leaving at the first chance, that is if he isn’t dealt before he gets a chance to.
