Shows amazing poise. Great anticipation. Most importantly, the Dual Threat moniker is deceiving. He keeps his eyes downfield at all times and only runs as a last resort. Only averaged 5 carries per game as a Junior. He has wheels, but only uses them when he has to. 25 TDs versus 3 interceptions as a full-time starting QB and only 1 fumble is a good sign as well. I As an aside, whoever their OC was/is at Seminole High, they are running a pretty good offensive scheme.

Seems like he has all the tools (and he’s a lefty so it just looks that much sweeter on the release) to succeed here and could be a huge get for us.

I heard he got a 70 yard rushing TD Couldn't find total stats but did find this from the 40-20 Seminole win .... Star of the game: Seminole QB Timmy McClain ran for 121 yards, and his momentum-turning touchdown run was his fourth over the last four games. The South Florida-committed signal caller also completed 71.4 percent of his passes, making the team’s two playoff games his two best performances in that statistic this season. .... Turning point: Down 15-13 with 8:47 in the third quarter, Sandalwood recovered a fumble at the Seminole 28. On the next play, they came out in five-wide, which had earlier resulted in a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jadon Canady before the half. According to Saints coach Adam Geis, Canady got open in isolation, but a botched snap turned it over on the next play, and after that takeaway, McClain used his 4.5 laser time to run 71 yards down the left sideline, making it 22-13. McClain and Seminole are (9-0). Will be a good spring competition. Looking forward!
