Why were we so short handed, are these injuries minor or anything more serious?

DC and Antun were in walking boots.   Apparently some sort of an ankle injury.   I'm guessing precautionary leading into conference play.

We're also going to get destroyed by decent big men.  The guy from FAU Silins??? used Durr.  That was a big reason for their comeback in the 2nd half.

He abused Mack, too. Wonder if Antun would have had more success against him ..... One thing, though, I can remember only one time that someone came over to double him, and that was after Herrion was screaming for someone to. Also, I think later in the game durr and Mack were doing a better job of denying the entry pass.

I don't know that Antun would have made a ton of difference, but I do think he is more athletic than Durr.  They made some adjustments down the stretch for sure.  I like the Mack kids upside.  Him and Antun are probably our best 2 FT shooters and he had a nice touch from beyond the arc as well

He’s also a senior compared to the sophomore Durr and the experience may have made a little difference.

On IHeart pregame coach said they both turned ankles within 5 minutes of each other at practice. Read in the TBT that Williams was out with a leg injury.  Heard and read nothing about how long they would be out.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
