Memphis defense is really poor. Let the offense down.

not many teams are equally competent  on both sides of the ball

Atleast Memphis was somewhat competitive...Oklahoma was done in first quarter.

Lsu could legit score 100 if they played starters all game....... ugly game.

Oklahoma totally represented. Looked like a great conference champion. B12, clearly a powerhouse.

Can we make a rule that Oklahoma is not allowed in the CFP again until they win 27 straight games

It's a huge problem in cfb. You have maybe 5-10 programs every year that absolutely dominate and then everyone else. Memphis played a respectable game against one of those programs. P5 needs to be careful what they wish for. They need a healthy cfb landscape or it implodes.

Keep in mind that Memphis just lost their head coach so that can be a big distraction. I do like that they kept Norvell’s assistant to he next head coach. It should keep the philosophy in place moving forward kind of like Boise St did to build that program.

Memphis was missing near half their offensive line and a star TE.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
