a great salesman

exactly, a salesman is as important to this program as the W's, as winning here doesn't hold up on it's own.

confident scott will leverage a winning onfield product to grow USF football in ways previous coaches failed.

I have no problem with the man selling USF Football to well to do people in a luxury box at a pro sporting event. Zero problem.

We may not see great football success on the field next season, but this guy clearly understands the totality of the college football business and is willing to do so much more in every aspect than the previous regime.

I think we will see an energy and enthusiasm that has been missing from USF for quite a while. The comments online from CJS past players say a lot about him.

Fans definitely gave him a nice welcome but as a perfect example of what we're fighting against, it was nowhere near the roar when they announced the score of this year's UF-FSU game .......................... I hate my city sometimes.

because it draws a professional pool from the two top-tier instate institutions? Tampa Bay's a top 10 metropolitan area, not a college town, as we all need to be reminded of at times.

It's going to take a lot of stuff like this to get USF to the lightning level of local pride. We were getting there but nuked it and then dumped piss on it.  Also, generations of football fans will help.

Only pool I can associate with the majority of Gator fans in this area that I'm aware of is this one ....
