I think Vinik may have given some money to the Sports Leadership (not sure of the proper name) program. Don't know of any to Athletics but doesn't mean he hasn't.  The Lightning donate a suite to USF for events at Amalie.  I would guess they aren't charging us for the ad on the boards but, again, I don't know that for fact.

This program had no sustainable foundation.  MK and JS are rebuilding it brick by brick.

I am not a Lightening fan but I believe that is Dave Andretchuk.
