I guess I'm confused. You want the school invested but don't want donors to give. You don't want the students to give. But you want the school invested.  So, tax increases?  It's a State school.  Seriously, I'm having a hard time figuring what you think should happen.  You have donors, you have taxes and you have student fees.  Not sure what other options are out there.  Don't think Athletics gets research grants.
