Matt Grothe does not work for the USF Athletic Department. Nor does he work for a media outlet tasked with digging into to USF athletics. So I’m not sure why you would find him a source to bank your entire argument on.

What if we got used by the Clemson media to hype up Jeff Scott to get a P5 offer....this is becoming a circus...keep checking Joey Knight twitter for Johnny Ford response...

There is no world in which MK sits down with MG and tells him the entire hiring strategy, all the candidates, etc.
