Even McCloud as a backup to build on the improvements we are starting to see and then you have the best path to a conference championship. I think Hopple played well at Rt last night. Plug in a serviceable right guard and now we can resemble a true contender.

I still prefer McCloud over him. I think he can make a pro team somewhere.

I believe you have to have two years of eligibility wiped out by injury. This year is one. Idk if there was one elsewhere. Last year does not fall into the criteria

This makes sense only if he is pursuing specific educational goals on scholarship instead of football. Or maybe working with a 1 on 1 coach to train him up to try out as a free agent somewhere. I think it would be awesome to give him a shot under better circumstances. Gives us a chance to develop Rodemaker and Smith.

At this point, I just want to focus on the talent we have now and coming in. I like Rygol, I love Tate Rodemaker and Jordan Smith (if we are able to hold onto both). I jumped off the McCloud bandwagon, but have seen worse QBs develop into good QBs so not ruling him out.

It failed. Time to move on. Why should he even be worried about football with that hot wife of his.
