All of this. If you have miscommunications in a timing offense that means turning the ball over. I don't know mind him dialing it down a bit against a team like Wisconsin, especially in our first game

How true.  The fact is this is another new system for the team to learn.  First game. Running plays against people that aren't your teammates.  We won't be putting up 40 against Wisconsin.

What is the one thing you need for an offense based on timing?

Time.

Will the OL show up? I'm confident our receivers can get open.

It could be. At this point I'm probably just hyper-sensitive to little things that make me think the kids aren't grasping the system or the system is confusing. Good news is we have a system complicated enough that the coach had to throttle back for the first game or two. Looking forward to seeing more than HB dive, HB dive, incomplete, punt. ;)

Please let this offense click! Sterlin Gilbert's offense gave me some unnecessary gray hair over the past 2 seasons.

I almost can't believe in the concept of offense after HB DIVE, HB DIVE, INCOMPLETE, PUNT, but my grinch heart is growing three sizes this day.

I'd call those exact plays first drive just to throw off USF fans and the Wisconsin Defense
