I wish we had two similarly talented quarterbacks again... where they were both good... instead of the mess we have now. Supersurch Posted November 7, 2014 Group: Member Topic Count: 66 Content Count: 488 Reputation: 33 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/31/2003 Share Posted November 7, 2014 MG is a player with a lot of gridiron heart. Don't know him personally from Fred to Sally, but the moment he stepped on that football field I got this great feeling that he is going to leave everything on that turf. Never seen him yell at his teammates for mistakes nor have I ever seen try to motivate them through words alone, but rather his play on the field fired everybody up more than any other QB that has gone through this program. I wanted to cry when he hurt his knee. Dang, we just need a few of those guys around the talent that we have today. We would be talking about something else for once. Haven't seen a leader like MG since he played, IMHO.

Grothe ended up being one of the top three QB's to play here and put our school on the map due to his performances in big games. My apologies Flip Flop. Wonder who my sources was back then? It was either a WR or a QB, although it could have possibly been an assistant coach. Sometimes being wrong isn't so bad. You probably relied upon that **** snot Colby Erskin who I wouldn't give taint sweat to if he was dying of thirst.
