Every NFL player has a different story, and you’d be hard-pressed to find one more unique than that of Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

From barely playing football until 11th grade, to bouncing around between junior colleges and starring at USF, to being a first-round pick and nearly ending his career with a freak accident, Pierre-Paul has traveled a winding road.

The first Bucs defender to tally double-digit sacks in a season since 2005, Pierre-Paul navigated a wide range of emotions while discussing his journey with Casey Phillips of Buccaneers.com:
