Why? Better coaching. More disciplined players. Army came very close to beating OU this year (lost to them in OT). If they can take OU to OT, imagine what Monken could do in Tampa. Of course, Johnson and his Jackets did win one ACC Championship (since vacated) and four division Championships. I guess that is a step up, right? The triple option is run by a handful of schools that are at a severe recruiting disadvantage and Georgia Tech. Honestly, I think the school that executes it best might be Georgia Southern.
