Wow that offensive analysis...  He really did watch the tape.

Also the defense.  I feel like we are on the same wavelength.  Get this guy a TBP account.

I didn't know Orlovsky was doing radio now, but his analysis is spot on.

It is almost like he has watched parts of games.

He got hired by ESPN this past summer as an analyst and has been calling some games for them this season. He also stops by some of the radio shows and typically provides very knowledgeable takes. Not your typical talking head.

Definitely sounds like a better analyst than he was a QB.

I think this hits on some of the disconnect we are having in the fan base.  This is why it is so frustrating to see us throw up a prayer on 3rd down and trot the defense back out on the field constantly.  And when we get in the red zone you can feel the FG attempt coming.  And the FG may be blocked.

It's almost as if those parts of the game have repeated over and over on every drive and game all year to varying results (recently soul draining).

Wow, spot on.  Thanks for transcribing this for us.  You'd think Gilbert has made some contacts over the years that he could call up and say look at this game tape, what am I doing wrong.  I'm not a coach, I don't understand all the inter-workings, but at my job, if I don't know the answer, I find someone with experience and ask them.

It’s insane how clearly he understands this yet our staff doesn’t.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
