More Excuses

(NEW THIS WEEK) 5. We are not big enough.

 

I about lost when I head him say we were not big enough.   Kegler and Pinkney have been here for two years and if I am not mistaken weighed more last year. I know for sure Sawtelle dropped weight to play lighter. Charlie wanted this team lighter and faster. Instead of taking the rightful blame for his miscalculation he just said they need to time to gain weight. I am confused but wasn't Yates and Barber early enrollees? Why did Bronson Pinkney and Kegler not get over 300 lbs? Why did Nico drop from 240 to 220?  Kierston Johnson has been here for 2 years why is he not ready?   I cant find the quote but I am positive Strong said he wanted the team lighter and faster and now he is saying they just need time to get bigger. What a bunch of crap.  Dwayne Boles was an early enrollee  and he could not get past 211 lbs?  Just sick of excuses.

Anyone with an objective mind can see  we are undersized. Call it an excuse, facts, or whatever.

Absolutely strong wanted lighter players.. I remember him saying that too. Boyle’s was heavier in Hs than he is now if his current weight is 211 smh

I would have had no problem with the excuse except that he created this problem when he said he wanted to be lighter and faster.  He did this. Yet he takes no responsibility.

Look I didn't expect to win a whole lot this year. I’m not disappointed in the team. I’m dissatisfied with the coaches inability to accept responsibility for the mess they created. Hearing this makes me want to fire everyone. At what point is it the coaches fault? If they can’t look at themselves first then they’re not leaders.

He has stated over and over again it falls on the coaches. 

Thats why I say he should stop talking. Nothing he says will calm the noise....besides maybe I quit. Then you all will call him a quitter (i would at that point too)
