Riptide the Pelican debuted in 1998 with the re-branding of Tulane athletics. Prior to that, the school used an angry wave nicknamed "Gumby" by fans, and before that a John Chase creation named "Greenie"

Also, learned that Tulane won the SEC three times.

And . . . never beat our BULLS :) 

UCLA @ Colorado game is pretty tight.

Memphis @ Tulane  Line: Memphis -14.5

Temple @ Boston College  Line:Boston College -12.5

Bowling Green @ Georgia Tech  Line: GT -28.5

UMass @ Ohio   Line: Ohio -13.5

Pitt @ UCF   Note: During UCF's conference play, I put them tier 1 for a loss no matter what. 

Cincinnati @ UConn

Old Dominion @ East Carolina   Line: ECU -7 

Tier 2

UCLA @ Colorado

West Virginia @ Texas Tech

Central Michigan @ Michigan State

Army @ Buffalo

Oklahoma St @ Kansas

Texas @ Kansas St
