Don't believe so.  It is all about the IPF now. Don't think they want to take money away from that to start a fund for an OCS.

IPF is for punks, I'll be glad if we don't waste money on that.

I think this thing can suck a grape.  Do real fundraising USF if you want an OCS.

The best way/fairest is voluntary contributions.

That's the fairest way, not the best way ....

That should be against state law.  Students are already required to pay a student athletic fee.  Students that want to help fund a stadium should donate as much as they wish, those who do not shouldn’t have to.  The stadium should be funded by alumni and others who wish to, not on the backs of students.

Just getting them ready for the real world ...  we pay taxes for some things we don't use, but it benefits others.

As much as I'd like to see an OCS, let's stop putting the cart before the horse and focus on the indoor practice facility.

Most of us acknowledge that an IPF will get us closer to an OCS.

Getting people back on campus is a must to increase donations. The average alum has 0 reason to return to campus (non FB sporting event attendance is poor). You can’t sell somebody a house if you can’t get them through the front door.

The average USF alum donates didly squat to Athletics.

Fund the stadium with seat taxes...that way, those who will use it pay for it.

is there ANY money in an OCS fund from donors/boosters to offset the cost to students?

is there even an OCS fund at all?

in other words, where does the university currently stand with an OCS? are they currently at zero?

i would vote for this as a student, he'll I'd donate money to an OCS fund now.

the only thing I want is to be sure we don't get a ******* wobbly erector set like College of Florida Central.

it should be a quality structure that could be an architectural statement piece for the campus, which last I was on campus still had the hodgepodge of styles spanning the decades in which they were built.

start with 30-35k capacity lower bowl with the potential to expand. obviously it should be multipurpose to hold outdoor events, concerts/festivals, maybe even host a Rowdie's game once a year or something.

home attendance is already in the 25k+ range several miles from campus... student attendance would definitely jump, alum would have more opportunities to return to campus.

so much they could do with it.

Student attendance doesn’t increase ticket revenue.

If I were a gambling man, I’d bet that those who are most outspoken in here about building an OCS donate very little to USF Athletics.
